Indian Head Massage

Also known as CHAMPISSAGE ( the Hindi word for head massage). Introduced into England in 1981 by Narendra Mehta (a qualified Osteopath, Masseur and Reflexologist), he grew up in India were massage is a part of life. Indian Head Massage (Champissage) has been a family tradition in the Asian continents for over a thousand Years.


What is Indian Head Massage?

Indian Head Massage is a treatment that will help ease headaches, neck tension and will also help the circulation and aid lymphatic drainage. It induces relaxation making it helpful for stress related conditions.


What happens during treatment?

The treatment is carried out over light clothing with the client sitting comfortably in a chair. The head and neck will be supported during the treatment, in case the client feels sleepy. Treatment can be given using oils, for which the neck and shoulders would need to be uncovered. Before treatment we will discuss any requirements and you will need to complete a short consultation form.
